COVID-19 Protection Framework
Active Dogs Vaccination Policy
On Friday 3rd December we woke up with the new COVID-19 Protection Framework in place across New Zealand.
Active Dogs supports vaccination against COVID-19 so that we can reduce the risk of exposure and transmission of COVID-19.
Active Dogs is a small business offering a service where I will be in close contact with clients both in group classes and in 1-on-1 coaching sessions, both at my business and in clients’ homes. Therefore I will be following the required My Vaccine Pass guidelines for close contact services across all classes and coaching sessions from Friday 3rd December.
It is important that we provide clients with a safe community, in which they can participate in dog training. A safe community is a COVID-19 free community, and currently, the best protection against spreading COVID-19 is vaccination.
We recognise that COVID-19 poses a very real and serious risk to the safety of ourselves and our families, as well as our clients and their families.
From 3rd December 2021, only those people who are fully vaccinated (i.e. have completed an NZ Government recognised course of COVID-19 vaccinations) will be able to access Active Dogs services.
Active Dogs will require proof of vaccination, in the form of a Government-issued Vaccine Pass, prior to accessing any facility or activity.
Please have your Vaccine Pass for scanning on arrival to your first class or on my arrival to your home or to Active Dogs for a private consultation.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you and stay safe
