Manners Group Classes
(4 - 6 weeks)
(Open Enrolment)
- Foundations & Focus
The starting point for dogs who aren't listening yet, and owners who want real results.
Is this you?
-
Your dog ignores you the moment something more interesting appears?
-
You're using treats but it's just not clicking?
-
You want a solid, enjoyable foundation before bad habits set in?
This is where everything starts:
Level 1 is designed for puppies (from 4 months) heading into adolescence, and adult dogs new to training, or those who need a reset.
Using games and positive reinforcement, you'll learn how to become the most interesting thing in your dog's world.
We build engagement, clear communication, and genuine focus, not just obedience under pressure.
You'll come away with: confidence using food, toys and play as real motivators; the basics of loose lead walking and recall; calm handling and relationship; and a dog who actually wants to work with you.
Plus: Full accompanying notes and videos each week to support your training at home (lifetime access)
(Discount code for Level 2 on completion)
Also suits dogs who've done basic training elsewhere and need to strengthen their foundations.
Level 1
- Active Life Skills
For dogs who are good at home, but fall apart in the real world.
Is this you?
-
Does your dog do brilliantly in the lounge, but the moment you step outside, everything you've taught them disappears?
-
Does a passing dog, a cyclist, or a dropped chip send them into orbit?
This is where we head next:
Level 2 is where training gets tested, focusing on Recall and Loose Lead Walking.
We add movement, real distractions, and genuine life situations to the skills your dog built in Level 1 (or equivalent).
The focus is on reliability, not just performing behaviours in ideal conditions, but making good choices when things get exciting.
You'll come away with: a dog who is starting to walk nicely even when the world is distracting; a recall that becomes more reliable in the park; impulse control that holds under pressure; and the confidence to handle your dog in everyday situations without constantly micromanaging.
Ready to advance to any of the Dog Sports Classes to continue your journey with your dog.
Prerequisite: Level 1 or equivalent foundation skills.
Not sure? Get in touch, and we'll chat.
Level 2
- Real-World Ready
Out of the training paddock and into the real world, with a dog you can trust.
Is this you?
-
Your dog is well-trained at home and at class, but you still feel nervous taking them to the café, the beach, or a busy park?
-
You want a dog you can genuinely relax with, not one you're constantly managing?
This is where we head next:
Level 3 takes everything off the training field and puts it to work in real environments: parks, town centres, walking tracks, and café settings.
We don't teach new tricks here. Instead, we proof and strengthen what your dog already knows, adapting each session to the actual challenges your team faces.
You'll come away with: a dog who stays calm and focused in busy public spaces; real confidence in environments that used to feel unpredictable; and the skills to handle whatever real life throws at you.
Prerequisite: Level 1 & 2 or equivalent (Active Dogs classes from previous years).
Ideal for owners who want to enjoy their dog, not just manage them.
Level 3
